{"id":1684,"date":"2020-10-29T07:48:06","date_gmt":"2020-10-29T07:48:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ofalcao.pt\/blog\/?p=1684"},"modified":"2020-10-29T07:48:07","modified_gmt":"2020-10-29T07:48:07","slug":"xac-finally-working","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ofalcao.pt\/blog\/2020\/xac-finally-working","title":{"rendered":"XAC finally working"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"seriesmeta\">This post is part 6 of 6 of \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ofalcao.pt\/blog\/series\/xbox-adaptive-controller\" class=\"series-344\" title=\"Xbox Adaptive Controller\">Xbox Adaptive Controller<\/a><\/div>\n<p>I kept my XAC unused for several months since it seamed broken &#8211; I could connect but nothing worked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Until I found <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/360Controller\/360Controller\/issues\/753\">an issue<\/a> in the<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/360Controller\/360Controller\"> Xbox Controller Driver for MacOS<\/a> project saying that the XAC needs some kind of initial configuration so a connection to a Xbox or a Windows 10 machine is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I spent  a whole day with my Windows 10 VM and nothing &#8211; as soon as I connected the XAC to the VM it started a loop of connecting \/ disconnecting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So I asked my wife if I could try it on her company&#8217;s laptop.
